OUR STORY
Sacred View Studio was founded in 2018 by Blake La Rue, and is located in Tacoma, WA. Blake received his BFA in Fine Arts with a minor in Art History from Southern Illinois University in 2008. Blake has worked in the arts in a variety of mediums since 1999 and has focused on stained glass for the past 10 years.

Sacred View Studio's mission is to create, maintain, and preserve sacred spaces. Historic preservation is at the heart of our business. We provide the best services possible while enhancing people's lives through creativity, collaboration, and appreciation for the places that inspire us.
SERVICES
Sacred View Studio strives to be a single point source for stained glass and other art services.
Our services include:
Stained Glass - Design, fabrication, restoration, repair, and installation.
Ceramics - Design and fabrication of pottery, sculpture, and mosaics.
Glass Blowing - Design and fabrication of glass objects and sculptures.
Metals - Design and fabrication of a variety of metal objects and sculptures including figurative and non-figurative sculptures.
Window Frames - Design, fabrication, and repair of historic and modern window frames and protective glazing.
PAST WORK
UNIVERSITY CHRISTIAN CHURCH - SEATTLE
This project involved the removal of original windows from one church and their restoration and relocation to another.
ST. ANNE CHURCH - SEATTLE
This project involved the removal of old plexiglass that had yellowed and fogged, onsite repairs to the stained glass windows, and the installation of clear tempered glass to the exterior.
LAKE CITY CHRISTIAN CHURCH - SEATTLE
This project involved the removal and restoration of stained glass windows from one church and their relocation to another church into custom built light boxes.
ST. THOMAS CHURCH - SEATTLE - IN PROGRESS
This project involves the removal and restoration of the stained glass and the replacement of the original single-glazed steel frames with modern frames that will house a 1 inch insulated unit to the exterior and the return of the restored stained glass to the interior.
